The Cornbread Project fører genren ind i det 21. århundrede med deres nyskabende blues hvor de bl.a bruger samples og vender flere af blues-klassikerne på hovedet. Deres seneste album “Catawampus” puster nyt liv i blues’en med toner til både hjerne, hjerte og fødder. Bandet frontes af tre forsangere, som leverer et medrivende scene show sammen med et top hold af musikere, der tør flytte græserne for blues og udvikle genren.

Although I was skeptical at first, I have to say that when I heard the first tones I was completely over, "Catawampus" is a more than successful project! The Cornbread Project leads the genre into the 21st century with their innovative blues where they use samples and turn several of the blues classics upside down.
